Welcome to the NEW Website of the Alameda County Firefighters, Local 55.
As the President of your local firefighters, I am immensely proud to represent the brave men and women who serve on the front lines of our vibrant community. We strive each day to earn the trust and confidence that you place in us.

Alameda County’s firefighters are here for you, both on duty and off.  You know us from the fire trucks we ride and the emergencies we respond to. But off duty, it is our responsibility to give back through charitable initiatives designed to move our community forward.

Local 55 advocates on behalf of fire fighters to ensure safety is a priority for all, working with elected officials and community stakeholders to ensure Alameda County remains a great place to live, raise a family, and own a business.
