Our Mission

The Alameda County Firefighters Local 55, strives to cultivate a positive bond between those who call our county home and the fire fighters who keep it safe.

Our commitment to our community doesn’t stop when we get off duty.  Members of Local 55 are empowered to give back to the community through various initiatives, including our annual toy drive, the Back to School Supply Drive, and our Stop! Drop! and Roll! fire prevention show.

Together, with elected leaders and community stakeholders, we are committed to making Alameda County a safer, more resilient place for all.
